What does Prism Publication cost?

Price per click: $0.50. It is a flat amount, taken from your prepaid credit each time a real visitor clicks your sponsored card in the live chat. Minimum credit: $5.00. You type the dollar amount you want to add on your campaign's own page. There are no packs and no tiers.

What is free?

  • Submitting a campaign. No fee, no card required. Submit an ad.
  • Testing. Once approved, test your ad against real questions in the live chat as often as you like.
  • Impressions. A card can show any number of times and nothing is billed without a click.
  • Turns with no ad. If nothing matched closely enough, the chat answers without a card and that turn costs nothing.

How does paying work?

  1. Submit your ad. It is screened, and anything uncertain is reviewed by hand.
  2. Once approved, test it for free in the live chat.
  3. When you are happy, add prepaid credit on your campaign page. Payment is handled by PayPal.
  4. Each real click on your card deducts $0.50.
  5. When the balance is lower than one click, the campaign stops showing. No negative balance, no automatic rebill.

Why per click and not per 1,000 impressions?

A card only appears after a question that already fits it, so a click shows follow-through. An impression alone does not. That is why there is no CPM option. How the ads are measured is explained in CPM vs CPC: how contextual ads are measured.
